How do I create an ipa, apk or xapk package to distribute?>
An APK is a packaged and signed Android application. For more information and how to create an .apk file please go to the Android Studio User Guide. An XAPK is ZIP compressed archive of your APK and OBB file related to the APK. No special signature or packaging is needed. An IPA is an iOS application archive. The Apple Developer Guide has an excellent walk through of how to create your enterprise app. One important prerequisite is enrolling in the Apple Developer Enterprise Program in order to archive your enterprise app.
Is my application secure?>
Yes, all successfully uploaded application builds are encrypted on disk with AES-256 encryption as well as being geographically distributed within the United States of America to provide ultra high levels of redundancy and availability.
Is there a size limit to the applications?>
Yes, the current size limit for an individual application build is 4 GB.
How many users can my company have on BuildCannon?>
Currently BuildCannon does not support user groups.
Do I need any programming/computer science skills to use this service?>
No, our service is simple to use. All you need is the ipa, apk or xapk file of your application and basic information: version number, display title, and the bundle identifier.
How do I delete my account?>
In order to delete your account click 'edit' on your account profile page and select delete account. When an account is deleted all applications and builds are removed from our system as well as payment information and any active subscription is immedidately expired.
Do I retain my available bandwidth after a paid subscription is canceled?>
After a paid subscription is cancelled you will not retain any available bandwidth and all distribution links will become invalid.
